Thanks so much:) I’m glad this version quelled some of your loathing.lol This one took me about a month, it’s not so much the technical aspect but conceiving of the arrangement, voicings, reharmonization etc. Hope that answers your question.

Seeing the sheet music I assumed (always a bad idea) that you were playing from a book, which is why I wondered how long it took to perfect those beautiful runs. Now that I know you arranged it I am doubly impressed. I am even gradually warming to the tune! By the way, the sheet music is a wonderful touch.Being able to read along with the playing makes it much more enjoyable. Thanks again.

Thank you ! yes I have a focusrite that I use to record when not talking, eventually I want to upgrade all my tech, but the dream is to have a really nice upright or one of the amazing new digitals that don’t make a you said the annoying clacking. In my next right hand vid I’m going to turn up the volume so hopefully it masks the clicking. Thanks again for your great comments

@@Jamesursel1 If you're looking for a good board, I recommend the Zoom L8, it has a straight line input and can also take input from mics (mute buttons are a god send). I've used it for years at this point and never ran into anything I couldn't pull off with it :D

Thank you! Yes your suspicions are correct, I like to play along with records to get ideas then write out, then if it’s different I amend the sheet music, but as you can see in the video I didn’t stay faithful to every written example. I do love sheet music though.
